Eimei - Hideaki Shimizu, is the son of Youzan, and his pots are made in the Youzan kiln. Eimei is an up and coming, relative new comer, who's work and popularity seem to have surpassed that of their father's. He has won prestigious awards, such as in the small bowl category of the Gafu-ten.
These represent great value pots, some with interesting forms and vibrant drippy glazes. Pots range from £25 for a mame to £175 for a rare suiban, with shohin and chuhin pots mostly under £100.
