Kimiko - Kimiko Mitsuie​ / Kimiko Matsuei
​Kimiko Matsui was born in 1929, and began pottery in 1973. She is the wife of Tojaku, and although she was initially self-taught, later she also learnt much from her husband. Ironically, her pots seem to be more valuable than those of her husband, but this could also be due to their relative rarity.
The pots, glazed, unglazed, and painted, are often quite delicate and feminine in form.
