This tool helps you easily and safely strip the bark and cambium off of your branches to expose the wood when working with jins and shari and create beautiful dead wood in your bonsai and refine existing deadwood. The shape enables you to reach inner corners and edges between branches with the tip of the gouge, but also allows removing large amounts of bark with the sides of the gouge with the least amount of effort. The tool features a comfortable stainless steel handle. The edges are sharp enough to cut through bark and cambium smoothly with control. Tool measures are 155 mm long and the widest point of the gouge mouth is 8 mm wide.
